your email address, but may need to contact you with questions/updates).

Your Hooping Birthday
As you answer the following questions, please think about that "Aha!" moment along your hooping
journey. The moment when you realized dancing with a hoop was a real and tantalizing possibility. You
may have seen another hooper dance. Or someone let you borrow their hoop. Perhaps you saw an
online video that rocked your world.
When did your hooping journey begin? Please be as specific as you
can about the date. (i.e. 8/17/2009, or Summer 2009, or just the year)

Please note: "my backyard"  or "that festival" is not enough. Please
include a city/state or country. Please list only one.
Your Hooping Family Line
For the purposes of The Hooping Family Tree, your hoop "parent" is the person  who FIRST opened up
the world of hooping to you.  You've likely had many, many influences since, but this would be the
person that brought hooping (or even the idea of it) into your life when it was not there
before. Our new software only supports ONE parent in the main tree. You may still submit two for future personal trees,
but be sure to indicate your main parent. You may list their given name and their hooper/stage name. If you don't know
their name, that's okay. Just type in "Anonymous Hooper." We'll try to fill in the blanks for you!

Most importantly, there are no rules. I've found that folks look at this question differently.
